Don’t lose out on your chance to have a fun-filled Labor Day weekend with the Nordic Ski Club and Cream City Cycle Club!

Join us for a fun packed weekend of multi-sports activities at one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful parks: Wyalusing. Located about 5 miles south of Prairie du Chien, this park has numerous recreational options: biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, touring, and the list goes on.

We have a group campsite which is adjacent to flush toilets and showers. Tent camping is the only option at our group site. For those of you not familiar with Wyalusing, it overlooks the convergence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers, with panoramic views of the area.

We plan to have a potluck meal on Saturday night. So bring your meat or non-meat entrée and a dish to pass for our dinner. Bring along your favorite muffin/coffee cake to share on Saturday morning as well. We’ll provide the coffee and juice.

The cost is $12 per member and $13 per non-member for the three day weekend. Transportation is on your own, but carpooling is possible since parking is limited and a state park sticker is required for admission to the park. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available.

Our nights will be spent around a blazing campfire. So if this sounds like a great way to spend your Labor Day weekend, let us know of your interest. Bike rides are planned for both Saturday and Sunday.
