Come out to enjoy the spectacular views of the setting sun and rising moon from the hills above Sunburst ski area. We will begin at the Ridge Road parking lot.  We will hike out on the IAT and the white loop (newly rerouted in 2012) to reach Sunburst Ski Area taking an optional side trip to the Eisenbahn Trail to add another mile of hiking.  We will return along the Ice Age Trail catching the setting sun and rising moon.  Bring along boots, water, bug spray and a flashlight as the woods get dark when the sun goes down and the moon comes up.

Meet at the IATA's Ridge Road parking lot.  From Hwy 45, travel north through West Bend almost to Kewaskum. At the stoplight for Hwy H and McDonalds, turn left (west) onto Badger Road. At the next stop sign, turn left (south) onto Prospect Ave. Go past Sunburst Ski area. The road will curve west, change names to Ridge Road and climb a big hill. The IATA parking lot is at the crest of the hill on your right. Watch for yellow and black Ice Age Trail Event signs. Be ready to hike by 6:30 pm.
