Bark River GSP Canoe Trip

Join Glacier State Paddlers for a fun day canoeing on the Bark River from Princess Point south of Hebron to Fort Atkinson. This will be a 13-mile trip with an option for a shorter 6-mile paddle on a slow moving, wide river. There are no homes and very few roads paddling down the Bark River before joining the Rock River in Fort Atkinson near the end of the trip. The trip will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 9. Please bring a bag lunch, beverage, and gloves to protect your hands.

Call Mike Craig, AYH trip leader and Nordic member, at 414-552-5011 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details (where to meet, etc.). Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is a maximum of $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Mike. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
