Cedar Creek GSP Canoe Trip

  • North of the town of Cedarburg in Ozaukee County
Enjoy a fun canoe trip on a small but interesting river north of the town of Cedarburg in Ozaukee County. This Glacier State Paddlers canoe trip will be held on Saturday, June 6 on a river suitable for beginners. We will meet at 10:00 am and shuttle vehicles before beginning the trip. Please bring a bag lunch and beverage for the trip. The trip will start at Creekside Park east of Granville Rd (Cty Y) on Cedar Creek Rd. Take Hwy 60 to Granville Rd and go 1 mile north before turning right on Cedar Creek Rd. Or take Cty N (76th St) north to Hwy 143 just south of Hwy 60, turn left on Hwy 143 and follow it 1.2 miles north before turning left on Cedar Creek Rd. The trip will pass thru the Covered Bridge County Park and will end at Boy Scout Park in Cedarburg after about 8 miles.

Call AYH trip leader Lois Brown at 414-535-0014 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details. Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is a maximum of $6.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Lois. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
