Join Glacier State Paddlers for canoeing on the Bark River Genesee Lake Rd to Hwy 67 near Dousman on Sunday, July 17. This is an easy, scenic trip of about 4 miles on a surprisingly clear “close to town” river.  The trip will begin with a 1:00 pm launch starting at Genesee Lake Rd west of Cty P. Due to road construction on I-94, take Cty P north from Hwy 18 and then turn left on Genesee Lake Rd and proceed about 0.8 miles to the Bark River.

After we take out at Hwy 67, we will head to Cushing Memorial Park west of Delafield for a cookout.  Bring your own entrée, drinks, and a dish to pass.  Grills will be provided.
