Lapham Peak Trail Clearing

On Saturday, November 12, the Nordic Ski Club will be working with the Friends of Lapham Peak to trim bushes, pick rocks and spread wood chips on the ski trails in preparation for the winter ski season. We will start at 9 am at the Hausmann Nature Center parking lot (the parking lot just before the tower parking lot). Although some tools will be provided by the park rangers, please bring a garden rake, lopper, pruner, shovel or pitch fork, and appropriate footwear and work gloves. After the work is completed around noon, a chili lunch will be provided by Friends of Lapham Peak.

Bring a dessert, bread or another item to share. Directions: To get to Lapham Peak, go west on I-94 and take the Delafield, County Hwy C exit. Proceed south for one mile on County C, the park entrance is on the left (east) side of Hwy C. A state park sticker is needed for your vehicle to enter the park.
