There’s an interesting restaurant that opened fairly recently called The Farmers Wife. Located at 6533 W. Mitchell Street, it is described as having “sustainably sourced American comfort food classics” and being a sort of “Sunday dinner” restaurant. Robin, one of the owners, says that they have a policy of Wisconsin made/Wisconsin grown as much as possible for their ingredients.

Exploring Cuisines will visit The Farmer’s Wife on Tuesday, April 18. We will meet at the restaurant at 6:30. Some of their menu items include an Oyster Mushroom Po-Boy ($10), Pot Roast ($14), Chicken Pot Pie ($12) and Pear Salad ($11).
