Please join us for some fantastic skiing at Minocqua Winter Park and Nine Mile Forest from February 9th to the 11th.
The bus leaves Friday morning at 8 am. We will be stopping on the way up to ski at Nine Mile Forest near Wausau. Nine Mile Forest, which is the home of the Badger State Winter Games, has about 30 km of trails, groomed for striding and skating, and suitable for all abilities. There is a nice chalet with ski rentals.
We will ski at Minocqua Winter Park on Saturday and Sunday. Minocqua Winter Park has 90 km of beautifully groomed trails for striding and skating, including both flat and hilly terrain for all skiing abilities. It has a large ski lodge with a café that serves a variety of excellent food; and has a well-stocked ski shop where ski and snowshoe rentals are available.
Both Nine Mile Forest and Minocqua Winter Park have extensive networks of designated snowshoe trails.
