Join other Nordics and Wisconsin Go Hikers for a nice autumn hike on the trail along the south shore of Lake Geneva. Meet at the McDonald’s parking lot in Lake Geneva at 104 N Wells St by 9:00 am. N Wells St is 1 mile from the Hwy 12/Hwy 50 (W Main St) interchange near the lake. Make a left turn onto Wells St and McDonald’s is a short distance on your right.

Shortly after 9am, cars will be shuttled to Fontana before returning to Lake Geneva where the one-way hike begins. The hike to Fontana will be a distance of 12 miles. Bring water and snacks or a sandwich to eat since there are no stops along the way. The hike should finish around 3 to 3:30 pm. After the hike we will get a bite to eat at a local restaurant in Fontana.

People who live in Milwaukee may wish to carpool from the Hales Corners Park & Ride at Hwy 100 off I43. Plan to leave the Park & Ride by 8:00 am. Call Mike Craig at 414-552-5011 if you have any questions or for details on where to meet.
