Join Glacier State Paddlers for canoeing on the Bark River from Lower Nemahbin Lake to Genesee Lake Rd on Sunday, July 21. The trip will begin with a 1:00 pm launch starting at Sugar Island Road off Cty P. This is an easy, scenic trip on a surprisingly clear “close to town” river. Cool off along the way with a swim in Crooked Lake. After we take out at Genesee Lake Rd, we will head to Cushing Memorial Park west of Delafield for a cookout. Bring your own entrée, drinks, and a dish to pass. Grills will be provided.

Call GSP trip leader Marge at 414-873-4565 to reserve a spot on the trip and to get trip details. Identify yourself as a Nordic Ski Club member. Canoe rental cost is $5.00 per person. Money should be paid directly to Marge at the launch site. There is no fee if you have your own canoe or kayak.
