Plan to join us for the annual Labor Day camping trip at Governor Dodge State Park. This 5,350 acre park near Dodgeville (on Highway 23, about 50 miles west of Madison) has so much to offer with almost 40 miles of hiking trails, two lakes for swimming and kayaking, boat/canoe rental, mountain biking, and easy access to the Military Ridge State Trail for biking. The hills and valleys of the driftless area in Southwestern Wisconsin are very scenic for road biking. Spring Green and Mineral Point are nearby tourism options. Plan to camp for all three nights or just one or two. Vehicles must have an annual WI state park sticker or daily pass.

We’ll be in site C of the Hickory Ridge group campsite with a short walk to shower facilities near group site B. Enjoy nightly campfires and the traditional Saturday night potluck at 6 p.m. Trip cost is only $14 per person (non-members $15.50).
