Put on your hiking boots, grab your “day pack” or backpack and imagine yourself on Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail. Learn more about this remarkable 1,000+ mile footpath, one of 11 National Scenic Trails, at the Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee ski trip signup meeting on Friday, October 13. We’ll have past and current hikers on hand to share their personal, unique experiences, traversing the countryside one step at a time on this timeless trail carved by glaciers over 10,000 years ago. Ya gotta love Wisconsin, winter weather for skiing and year-round opportunities for hiking!

WHERE: Elks Lodge 400, 2301 Springdale Rd., Waukesha

FOOD: Pizza (including vegetarian choices). Cash bar.
SIGN UP: Food is free if you sign up by Wednesday, Oct. 11.
