Grab your lawn chair or blanket, and a cooler for an evening picnic, and meet up with other Nordics at Summer Stage at Lapham Peak on Wednesday, August 23rd. The play starts at 7:30, though you can arrive as early at 6:30 to purchase a ticket and pick a seating area on the grassy amphitheater hill if you want to have a picnic. They have a cash-only concession stand that opens at 6:30 selling snack items as well as water, beer, soda, & wine, but you may bring in your own food and beverages. This is a "value night" so all tickets are only $13. No grills are allowed and no pets either. If you don't have a state park sticker there is a nominal $5 charge at the park entrance that evening to attend the performance.

Check out the website for more information and if you want to purchase tickets ahead of time:  https://summerstageofdelafield.org/boeing-boeing/. The play is a 1960's era farce about a lothario named Bernard who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.”  He keeps them from knowing about each other by abiding by a strict schedule. Bernard’s life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay, and complications such as weather and a new, speedier Boeing jet disrupt his careful planning. Soon, all three stewardesses are in the city simultaneously and catastrophe looms.
