We are now meeting at the new Lapham Lodge!

Want to learn about Wisconsin's lighthouses, go for a hike, or sign up for our club's final bus trips up north to cross-country ski? You can do it all on Friday, October 10. Plus, the Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee will provide free pizza (for members). If you want to hike, show up about 4:45 pm at Lapham Lodge in Lapham Peak State Forest and meet with any others who want to hike. Plan to be back at the lodge by 6:00 pm. Ski-trip signups will start about then. Pizza should be available between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Then we'll have announcements, plus a program of stories and photos by Ken and Barb Wardius, coauthors of “Wisconsin Lighthouses: A Photographic and Historical Guide.”

We'll also have flyers available for the December 7 Sunday afternoon holiday party at Delafield Brewhaus. We need you to sign up for that dinner by October 31 in order to reserve the space. If you can bring a check for the dinner to the October 10 meeting, even better. Otherwise, you'll need to mail a check to Cathy Ward, holiday party coordinator.

Note also that your $25 club dues need to be paid in October, preferably at the October 10 meeting.
