Let's hike the Hartland Marsh spur loop and other parts of the Hartland Segment of the Ice Age Trail. The hike will start at 1:00 pm from the parking lot located on Cottonwood Ave just south of Lindenwood Drive.

We will first hike the Hartland Marsh spur loop and see the new boardwalks recently built or in the process of being built. Then we will head north on the Ice Age Trail to the Aldo Leopold Overlook. From there we can head back to the parking lot for a total hike of 2 ½ miles. For those who want a longer hike, we will continue north from the Aldo Leopold Overlook into Hartland for some food and drinks at Beer Snobs before we head back to the parking lot.

Directions: From Milwaukee, take I-94 west to Hwy 16. Take the County E Hartland exit of Hwy 16 and head first west then about 1 ¼ mile south on County E thru Hartland that becomes Cottonwood Ave. The parking lot is on the right (west) side of the road.
